Lord Jesus, come to me.
Lord, Jesus, give me your love.
Lord Jesus, come to me and give me yourself.
Â
Lord Jesus, friend of children, come to me.
Lord Jesus, you are my Lord and my God.
Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
Prayer After Communion
Lord Jesus, I love and adore you.
You’re a special friend to me.
Welcome, Lord Jesus, O welcome.
Thank you for coming to me.
Â
Thank you, Lord Jesus, O thank you
For giving yourself to me.
Make me strong to show your love
Wherever I may be.
Â
Be near me, Lord Jesus, I ask you to stay
Close by me forever and love me, I pray.
Bless all of us children in your loving care
And bring us to heaven to live with you there.
Â
I’m ready now, Lord Jesus,
To show how much I care.
I’m ready now to give your love
At home and everywhere.
Amen.

We are in the final stages of our preparation for the children’s run, couch to 1km/2km event.
The BIG RUN will take place on Wednesday 5th April from 11.30am on the running track at the shore front, Buncrana.
We are all very excited and looking forward to the event.
Thanks to Coach Tracy Harley of Inishowen Athletics Club for her meticulous preparation of the children over the last 12 weeks.
We would be delighted if as many supporters/ Parents would come along and attend.
Children will get the bus from the school to the event and back afterwards.
Come along and enjoy the fun!

We would like to say a ‘HUGE’ thanks to Martin Bradley who organised the Internet of Things project in the Sliabh Sneacht centre and who has kindly donated all the proceeds to the school. The total amount raised is €800. We wish to express gratitude to the Sliabh Sneacht Centre also who hosted the project for free. Go raibh mile maith agaibh.

Seachtain na Gaeilge. Thursday 16th March: To celebrate Seachtain Na Gaeilge there will be a ceilà in the school hall for children from Infants -6th class from 1-2pm. Everyone welcome to come and participate!
Children from 1st-6th class will participate in a team quiz ‘as gaeilge’ from 2-3pm on the same day.

To celebrate National Tree Week the children from 1st, 2nd and 3rd classes were out yesterday around the school grounds planting trees with Colm Grant.
This was a great experience and the children loved it!

The Green Schools Co-ordinator made a visit to the school last Monday. She was very positive about the work that has been done in preparation for the application for our Energy Flag. She was also very impressed with our Green Schools Committee and how much they knew about Energy saving!
Fingers crossed we are successful in our application
We are over the moon here this morning with the news that our team who went to the Garda Road Safety Quiz last night in Carndonagh came back with 2nd prize in the Inishowen Division!!
This means they go on to represent the school at the county final now on 23rd March in Letterkenny!
The tie break question which put them in 2nd place and one we don’t think they will ever forget is ‘What do you call a group of crows?’ the answer is ……a ‘murder of crows’ (very difficult)
Congratulations Conor, Erin, Aileen and Sarah!!!
