As part of this year’s 1916 commemorations, the senior classes are researching their ancestry and local genealogy. Research tools include speaking to parents and grandparents, looking up the 1901/1911 online census and going back on old roll books in the school for information.
The children are very interested in this area  and finding out some fascinating facts about their ancestors and where they came from.
These projects will be displayed on the school notice boards on Tuesday 15th March when we will also be having the raising of the ceremony.
