Thursday: Today we celebrate our faith. We celebrate that Jesus came to earth and showed us how to love and how to live. We celebrate and give thanks each time we go to Mass and share in Holy Communion with our parish community. We celebrate our faith when we gather to pray with our families or in school. Lord, help us to continue to celebrate our faith and to celebrate you. Together

Friday: As Catholic Schools Week comes to a close, we think of how we can help and serve those around us. Jesus came to serve us, to show us how to serve and help others and treat them as we would like them to treat us. We serve you when we spread the good news of Jesus Christ and when we live our lives as Jesus asked us to.
Wednesday: Today is Grandparents’ Day and we are asked to think about how we can serve the Lord with joy. Our grandparents bring such joy to our lives and we know that we can bring great joy to their lives too. We can serve God by being joyful in all we do and by sharing that joy with others. Our grandparents are great teachers in how to serve God as they pass on their faith to us. God of joy, help us to find real joy in all we do this day and always.
Yesterday the senior classes got to go to Scoil Mhuire to see the musical ‘Oh Mama Mia’. This ultimate feel good show told a story of love, friendship and identity and featured all of ABBA’s hit songs such as ‘Mamma Mia’, ‘Dancing Queen’, ‘SOS’, ‘Waterloo’, ‘Money, Money, Money’, ‘Super Trouper’, the classic ‘Winner takes them all’ and many more besides…we had a great day out and thoroughly enjoyed it!
Over the last few weeks we have been tasting many of the delights our chefs have been cooking up! Dishes have included Potato and Leek soup, Spaghetti Bolognese, Strawberry milkshakes and ’15’s’…I must say we are spoiled here and just love Fridays!!!
Here are some of the photos…
Tuesday: Today we think of the ways and places in which we learn about our faith. We learn about our faith at home, in school and in our parish communities. We learn about the life of Jesus, his kindness and forgiveness. We learn from his example. Help us Lord to learn how to act like Jesus to make your world a better place.

Monday: Today is the first day of Catholic Schools Week 2015. The theme for the week this year is Catholic Schools: Called to Serve.
God sent his only son Jesus to show us how much he loved us. Jesus taught us by his words and by his actions how we can serve God with love. We serve God by loving each other, our families and friends. But God also wants us to love those who are difficult to love, those who are mean or unkind to us, the people we don’t like, the people we don’t agree with, the people who we think aren’t cool. This is the real test of how we serve God with love. God of love, help us to love our neighbour as we know you love us no matter what.
