As Catholic Schools Week comes to a close, we think of how we can help and serve those around us. Jesus came to serve us, to show us how to serve and help others and treat them as we would like them to treat us. We serve you when we spread the good news of Jesus Christ and when we live our lives as Jesus asked us to.
Today we celebrate our faith. We celebrate that Jesus came to earth and showed us how to love and how to live. We celebrate and give thanks each time we go to Mass and share in Holy Communion with our parish community. We celebrate our faith when we gather to pray with our families or in school.Lord, help us to continue to celebrate our faith and to celebrate you.
Today, on Grandparents’ Day, we think of the faith and love that our grandparents share with us. They share their lives and gifts and play a special part in how we learn and live our faith. Lord, help us to share all that we have and all that we are. Help us to know the joy of sharing and giving to those around us.

As Saturday is St Bridgid’s Day….
We are looking for volunteers this Friday @1.15pm to help make St Brigid’s Crosses in the school hall. Parents, grandparents and neighbours are all welcome!
Even when it is raining outside, we still can have fun inside!….Spot our next generation of engineers who were building submarines and sky rockets, our little actors and actresses dressing for their scenes and we have our chefs cooking lovely meals and other responsible boys and girls looking after the house!
Today we think of the ways and places in which we learn about our faith. We learn about our faith at home, in school and in our parish communities. We learn about the life of Jesus, his kindness and forgiveness. We learn from his example. Help us Lord to learn how to act like Jesus to make your world a better place.
