4th, 5th and 6th classes in Mrs Walsh’s room are extremely busy getting the Drumfries Times – Halloween Edition ready . Hope you all enjoy reading it!!

School closes tomorrow at 1pm and will reopen on Monday 4th November- We wish you all a spook-ta-cular Halloween !!!!

As Halloween is nearly upon us, the middle room have been busy making their Halloween masks.Everyone has been so creative and we all agree they would give you quite a fright!

Mr Campbell told us the lovely story of The Gingerbread Man and how he escaped the oven -only to be outwitted by the sly fox ….! We enjoyed the story so much that we  decided to bake gingerbread men to see what all the fuss is about…! They were sooooo tasty!!!

This years coffee morning will be in aid of Temple street children’s hospital. This charity was chosen by the children of Drumfries N.S and will be held in the school hall.

Coffee, Tea, refreshments, Home baking, ‘guess the number’ and much more on the day…..Everyone Welcome !!!

School will finish for the Halloween holidays for ALL pupils at the end of the coffee morning@1pm

We enjoyed a walk around our school to have a closer look at our trees. National Tree Day is on Thursday 10th October, maybe you could have a look at the trees around you this week too!
