Congratulations to all the children from the school who took part in the recent Carndonagh Feis. We had several medal winners and children who received Highly Commended Certificates!

 It is a great achievement to be able to stand up on a stage and preform.So well done to all of you !

School closes tomorrow @11am and will re- open on Friday 30th August

A massive  “Thank You” to everyone who made the recent Cycle/Run/Walk such a huge success in aid of the school. The profit for school funds is approx 1086 Euro’s !!!!

A debt of gratitude is owed to Charles Mc Daid and the North Pole Cycling Club for making such a great effort.Thanks to everyone  who participated, who brought food/refreshments on the day and those who took part.

Thanks to the Parents Committee in the school who worked so hard both on the day and before it, to make it all possible.

The children will benefit greatly from the support you all give.

The middle room have enjoyed a great visit from  baby Franki as part of our Roots of Empathy Programme.

Franki is making a lot more sounds and was very happy to play in our class today. He can sit up very well and can reach for toys. We got to see Agatha feed Franki- he really enjoyed his yoghurt, raisins and cracker. He liked to play with the food so he could learn more about it. He laughed and giggled lots when  he played with the toys. Next week will be our last visit  from baby Franki and we will see how much he has grown since he first came to see us back in October.

Sports Day will be taking place on Monday 17th June @ 11.15am – Weather permitting. Children to wear p.E uniform on the day.

This year our school trips will take place on Friday 14^th June 2013.

Junior and Senior Infants will go to Lurgybrack Farm, Letterkenny(http://lurgybrackopenfarm.town.ie/).

1^st to 6^th classes will go to the Old Courthouse in Lifford (http://liffordoldcourthouse.com/).

ALL children from infants to sixth class will then meet up in Arena 7 Entertainment Complex in Letterkenny(http://arena7.ie/).

Junior and senior infants will go to the ‘Wayne’s World’ play area and 1^st-6^th classes will go bowling.

All children will receive a hot lunch in Arena 7  afterwards.
