
We had a visit today from local songwriter and musician Patsy Cavanagh.
Through storytelling and song we learned  the plight of the Famine victims of Ireland in the 1800’s.
We also really enjoyed dressing up in the costumes of times gone by….See below photos of the production.
Today the pupils, teachers and the parents came together and dressed up in their brighest attire to take part in Relay for life’s ”Rainbow walk’. Our walk was aptly named “Trek to the North Pole’ !
There has been approximately 130 Euro raised so far…Well done to all involved and thank you for your kind donations. Please see below some of the lovely photos taken on the day…..

Scoil Naomh Padraig Parent’s Association in conjunction with North Pole cycling Club are holding a Cycle /Run/Walk in aid of school funds.
Registration for the days events will be held in the school. Registration for the cycle is opening at 9am and leaving the school @10am.Registration for the walk and run are opening at 10am and leaving the school @ 11am
The cycle will be 45 miles long, The run will be a 10k run and walk is 5k.
Registration fees:
Adults : 10 Euro
Children: 5 Euro
*Refreshments will be served afterwards back at the school.
