A book is selected. The book is read and a summary should be  kept so they can review the information before the “Battle”

Teams consist of five students;each read the same 3-predetermined books selected by Buncrana library.

The school battles will be held in May, with the Grand Battle held in June.

All battles will be held in Buncrana library The teams earn points by answering questions about the books they have read.

The students gain knowledge and enjoyment from reading good books, sharing them with friends, parents and teachers, plus a fun day of playing in the “Battle”

The books are:  ‘How to train your dragon’ by Cressida Cowell , ‘Walter speazlebud’ by David Donahue, ‘The badness of Ballydog’ by Garrett Carr
